The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL 2026 notification on 21st May 2026 for recruiting eligible candidates to 12,256 vacancies in Group B (Non-Gazetted) and Group C posts in various Central Government Ministries, Departments and Organisations.
Key posts include: Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Inspector (IT/Central Excise/Preventive Officer), Sub-Inspector (CBI/NIA), Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), Statistical Investigator, Assistant (CSS/MEA), Tax Assistant, and more.
What's New in 2026: Sectional timing has been introduced in both Tier 1 and Tier 2. A new AAO post has been added with a dedicated Paper III in Tier 2.
