How much does it actually cost?
Creating an exam is free. You only pay when you activate it for students. Cost depends on enrolled students: ₹99.8 for 1–100 students, ₹199.6 for 101–300, ₹299.4 for 301–600 — all from the Starter pack. Compare that to ₹10–20 per student offline.
Do students need to install anything?
No. The exam runs entirely in the browser — desktop, tablet or mobile. Students just need internet and their roll number + password.
How do students log in?
Each student gets a unique roll number and password emailed automatically the moment you add them. They log in at udaanpath.com/ueas/student.
Can students cheat by switching tabs?
Tab switches, fullscreen exits and refreshes are all logged in real time. You configure how many violations trigger auto-disqualification. Questions are also randomised per student so sharing answers is useless.
How many students and exams can I run?
Students and batches are unlimited. You buy credits and spend them when you activate an exam — cost scales with your student count. The more you buy in bulk, the cheaper per credit.
When are credits charged — at exam creation or activation?
At activation only. You can create an exam, set it up, assign batches and review everything for free. Credits are only deducted when you click Activate — which locks in the student count and makes the exam visible to students.
Can I reuse questions across different exams?
Yes. Your question bank belongs to your institute. Create papers from any subset of questions and use them in multiple exams.
What if I don't have questions ready?
Request AI-generated papers from our team. Specify subject, topics, difficulty and count — we deliver to your account in 2–3 business days.
Can I see who is writing the exam right now?
Yes. The Live Monitor updates every 30 seconds and shows each student's status — not started, active, submitted or flagged.
Are results visible to students immediately?
You control this. 'Immediate release' shows scores the moment a student submits. 'Manual release' lets you publish results when you're ready.
