RRB ALP Recruitment 2026 — Indian Railways की सबसे बड़ी और सबसे प्रतिष्ठित भर्तियों में से एक है। Railway Recruitment Board ने CEN No. 01/2026 के तहत देश के 21 Railway Zones में 11,127 Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) posts के लिए notification जारी किया है।

2026 cycle में क्या नया है:
- CBT-1 से General Awareness हटाया गया — अब केवल Mathematics, Mental Ability और General Science। GK की पढ़ाई CBT-1 के लिए ज़रूरी नहीं।
- CBAT का weightage बढ़ा — Final merit में CBT-2 Part A: 50% + CBAT: 50%। पहले CBAT सिर्फ 30% था। CBAT अब उतना ही important है जितना written exam।
- Live photo capture — Application में पुरानी photo नहीं चलेगी। Webcam या phone से live photo लेनी होगी।
- Aadhaar या DigiLocker से identity verification।

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
भारतीय नागरिक। Nepal, Bhutan के नागरिक और Tibetan refugees (1 जनवरी 1962 से पहले भारत आए) भी eligible। Certificate of eligibility from GOI required।
Age Limit
18 से 30 वर्ष (1 जुलाई 2026 के अनुसार)। DOB: 02-07-1996 से 01-07-2008 के बीच (UR/EWS के लिए)। SC/ST: 5 साल छूट; OBC-NCL: 3 साल छूट; PwBD: 10 साल; Ex-SM: actual service + 3 years।
Educational Qualification
10वीं पास + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trade, OR 10th + Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Automobile), OR 10th + B.E./B.Tech in relevant stream। Final year students apply नहीं कर सकते।
Medical Standards
Standard A-1 — Railway की सबसे strict medical category। Near vision: Sn 0.6 both eyes (with/without glasses), Distant vision: 6/6 one eye, 6/9 other. Color vision: CP-2. LASIK surgery disqualifies. Normal hearing। No flat foot, color blindness.
CBAT — Aptitude Requirement
Computer Based Aptitude Test में हर battery में T-score ≥42 अनिवार्य। CBAT qualify न करने पर selection नहीं होगा चाहे written exam में कितने भी marks हों। 2026 में CBAT का weightage 30% से बढ़कर 50% हो गया है।
RRB Zone Selection
एक candidate केवल एक RRB में apply कर सकता है। Mobile number, email ID और chosen RRB — application submit होने के बाद नहीं बदल सकते। अपने नज़दीकी zone का चुनाव सोच-समझकर करें।

- Primary Qualification (सबसे ज़्यादा candidates इसी से eligible हैं): किसी मान्यता प्राप्त board से 10वीं (Matriculation) उत्तीर्ण + NCVT/SCVT approved ITI in relevant trades: Armature & Coil Winder, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Heat Engine, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic Diesel, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Millwright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic Radio & TV, Refrigeration & AC Mechanic, Tractor Mechanic, Turner, Wireman।
- Alternate Qualification — Diploma: 10वीं + Diploma in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Automobile) from AICTE recognized institution।
- Alternate Qualification — Degree: 10वीं + B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering stream from a recognized university।
- Apprenticeship: 10वीं + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship (CCAA) in relevant trade।
- Final year students apply नहीं कर सकते — qualification closing date तक complete होनी चाहिए।
- Graduate Act Apprentice को CCAA का substitute नहीं माना जाएगा।
